My desire to work in beauty led me to New York in 2007 with $3000, a car and a place to stay. I bought 80 lip gloss pots at a dollar store and ordered all the free samples I could trick onlinelabels.com into sending, with the idea of self-branding each gloss and sending to them to every beauty director I could find. Coincidentally, an opportunity at Estée Lauder came up before I even finished my project. A one day try out turned into a week, which turned into three and a half years.

I joined e.l.f. Cosmetics in October 2011 to experience working at a non-traditional company with a younger demographic. I saw an opportunity to apply the design sensitivity I acquired at Estée Lauder to a budget brand eager to elevate its image.

In July of this year, I moved to IT Cosmetics, a top-selling, prestige brand at QVC and Ulta with a fast-growing eCommerce business. As the senior designer, I concept and create all digital content, while partnering with the PR and marketing teams to translate business requirements into meaningful interactive experiences.
